Armed robbery, Mackay – Queensland Police News

Mackay police are appealing for public assistance regarding investigations into an armed robbery that took place at a shopping centre on Phillip Street, Mount Pleasant this morning.

Around 10.30am, a man approached a 34-year-old South Mackay woman who was sitting in her parked Toyota Landcruiser at the time.

The man pointed an object in her direction and verbally threatened her, causing the woman to exit the vehicle.

Once the woman was out of the vehicle, the man entered the driver’s side and drove out of the carpark, turning left onto Phillips Street.

The offender is described as a Caucasian male with a goatee beard, wearing bright red shorts, dark sandals with white ankle socks, a grey singlet, orange hat and carrying a black item…
